I climb rocks. I camp out under the stars. I go exploring on weekends and weeknights and take photos of the places I find.
On Monday mornings, I clean the dirt out from under my fingernails, throw on a pair of high heels and return to the world of commercial law.
This blog is a collection of words and pictures from my out of office wanderings.
Expect epic tales from high places all over Australia and New Zealand. You might also find trip reports, gear reviews, trail food recipes, outdoor films recommendations and other bits and pieces.
Hopefully I’ll get to share in your adventures too.
Hi there 🙂 I really like your blog. And I also specialize in corporate law. Good luck!

I was attracted to your blog because you LIKED my ‘Snow Fort’ story, and your Username (LOL). A brief scan of your topics hooked me into wanting more. I’ll FOLLOW you and let you take me places for some high adventure. To relax, I’ll reread my simple blogs. Thanks for finding me.

I really enjoyed that post. I’m all for squeezing adventures into your own backyard. It’s been well over 100 degrees here in the land of Oz, so the idea of snow was pretty appealing!
I look forward to your next tales.

Thank you. More snow expected next week. Opportunity for a new story. By the way, no tale at all, I really did build the ‘fort’, hoping other 69 yr old guys would join me for a snowball fight… (LOL). On a separate note, our son is an in-house attorney for GEICO, doing employment law. Have a great day! (Steve)

I didn’t doubt for a second that the snow fort existed. I just like using the word ‘tale’ for all sorts of stories and accounts of real life adventures.
I grew up near the beach and have only seen snow a handful of times. I still get so ridiculously excited when I get a glimpse of snow on a mountaintop on the horizon. You’ll have to throw a snowball for me sometime soon.
Hope your son is enjoying his work. We lawyers aren’t all bad (I hope!).
You have a great day too.

First, as much as some of us complain about snow, we probably should be grateful that we experience it as part of our ‘changes of seasons here in the northeastern part of the U.S.. It does give us a spice of variety and opportunity to enjoy a different type of beauty from constant sunshine. Funny you mention it, but I was just throwing done snowballs left and right handed yesterday while the dog was doing his thing. Secondly, he loves his work as a GEICO employment lawyer. He’s very analytical so it’s perfect for him. Me? I’m all over the map.

As a woman who sounds like a sportsperson, certainly an adventurer, you might enjoy my ‘tale ‘, ‘Today, I Threw Like a Girl.’ You reminded me of it when you mentioned ‘throwing snowballs’. Go back to my blog and scroll down until you find it. I think it’ll be worth the effort.
Have s wonderful day.
